In this key role, you will monitor and troubleshoot client environments, respond to trouble and enhancement tickets from clients, test all ONCOCHART related software, and develop ONCOCHART enhancements requested by clients and management.

itachi Computer Products (America), Inc., has an immediate opening for a Junior or above Engineering Intern (Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Major).  Our facility is located at 1800 E. Imhoff Road in Norman.  Below are the duties and qualifications and qualified candidates should submit their resume to hrstaffing@hitachiomd.com.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

-   Work closely with Engineers to support automation, data analysis, and production support projects.  
-   Develop and maintain existing software.
-   Research and propose solutions for engineering issues.
-   Assist with the setup and support of production test and office computer equipment.
-   Work in a team environment. 


QUALIFICATIONS:

-        Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-        Basic knowledge of statistics.
-        Windows programming experience (C/C++, VB, or VBA preferred).
-        Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel preferred).
-        Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week during school months and40 hours per week during the summer months

TELECOMMUNICATIONS PROJECT ENGINEERS:  Looking for individuals with a
bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, to
serve as project engineers in telecommunications systems.  Project
engineers are assigned responsibility for specific systems, allowing them
to obtain in depth knowledge, often becoming the FAA’s subject matter
expert for the system.  The IFCET needs project engineers to support the
Alaska Satellite Telecommunications Infrastructure (ASTI), Bandwidth
Manager (BWM), and FAA Owned Microwave Systems (FOMS).  These communication
systems carry critical information between facilities used by air traffic
controllers to safely control aircraft in the National Airspace System
(NAS).  Individual must be self motivated and driven, and must have good
communications and technical writing skills.

DATA COMMUNICATIONS PROJECT ENGINEERS:  Looking for individuals with a
bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or Computer Science to
develop software applications for FAA's next generation of data
communication systems.  Individual must be self motivated, driven, and with
a good technical writing background.  Preferred languages:  C, C++, Java,
Shell Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL.

Although some work experience is desirable, new graduates will be
considered for some of the openings.
